Details
Geek 201, a vintage frame inspired by the legendary eyewear such as the “Ronsor” by Shuron, the “Clubman” by Art-Craft, and many others. An issue of FRAMES MAGAZINE dated June, 1955 described this style as “a new design that incorporates the best features of both a plastic and metal pair of eyeglasses in the same frame.” The designers at GEEK EYEWEAR have remained faithful to the early original designs yet added some technical refinements to add strength and provide comfort.
A double-screw lens locking system holds prescription, sunglass or clear lenses firmly in place. The metal bridge that connects the right side of the frame to the left side of the frame is reinforced with a strong, durable single bar that helps the frame retain its shape.
GEEK 201 comes in two (2) available color combinations: The Tortoise-Gold frame marries shiny gold to a rich, tobacco-shaded horn color. The Black-silver frame matches shiny chrome with a glossy jet black.
Famous people who wore this style: Malcolm X, Richard Gere, and Vince Lombardi.
